Academics

The Delta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta has always held its women to a higher standard of academia. In our chapter, a member must have a 2.5 cumulative G.P.A. to be in good academic standing. Our chapter has had a very successful 2016-2017 academic year and we are proud of our women and all their accomplishments. This year we were honored to say that our cumulative GPA is 3.17! This outstanding G.P.A. places our chapter above the average Panhellenic G.P.A. of 3.10, consistent with the all women average G.P.A. at Ferris State University of a 3.17, and above the all student average at Ferris State University of a 3.05. This G.P.A. represents the dedication, hard work, and academic priority that the women of Alpha Xi Delta embody. 

Alpha Xi Delta is based on a foundation that we are collegiate women before we are sorority women. Each academic year we take great pride in our chapter’s ability to excel at Ferris State University in and outside the classroom. We have a great support system to encourage women throughout their collegiate career to make sure they are being the most successful version of themselves.
